HMA Hotspot VPN & Proxy App Reviews

The app crashes at the opening on iOS 9.3 iPad.

Purchased to watch Hula and ABC in MX. HMA advertises being able to to this. Neither worked. Put in a refund request within 40 minutes of subscribing. Got the run around with 9 emails with inane suggestions. Each time I asked for a refund per their policy. My refund was refused. I asked to be escalated to a manager. He also refused without reading my request. Long story short. Buy something else that works, where you will get support. I highly recommend VPN Unlimited.

This is the most stupid upgrade ever.. Force customer to upgrade to latest version but then it crashes like mad. Totally useless I need my one star back

Find another VPN. This one crashes constantly and isnt worth using in its current state.

Sorry if my first review was published with me complaining. Everything is working out ok now. My renewal date was the same as the launch of this new version and got me all confused. Really the best VPN ever for a large choice of countries. Dont hesitate.

...since the new useless update. You should better work on new servers to bypass netflix.

Useless in China, Never Works when needed, 11€ for ur ass!!

The app is nice and the vpn sometimes work, BUT: -when youre logged on for more than 10 minutes the session mostly expires and you have to close safari and log on again and connect again (very annoying). -there is no offline list of the country, so you have to wait until the list has loaded (highly inefficient!) -there is no random connecting --> I dont always care where the server is Im connected with. I just want a working vpn.

For surfing with VPN. It works very well on the iMac, Mac Pro, iPad and iPhone. The choice of many countries is possible. The favorites tab could be without letter difference, because you need maybe 5-8 places.

This is a fantastic app for those who live in Canada and want to watch films (via Netflix) that are offered on only in the U.S. Really easy set up and user friendly!

Please make the in-app for subscription to be renewable or re-subscribe

It simply does not install on iPad. Installed on iPhone, but it does not unblock web-sites. Very complicated installation instructions. Wasted a couple of hours trying... Bought it for router capability, but thats beyond comprehension. Useless. Gave up trying. There are other VPN apps with simple installation process that do work.

As above what good is a VPN service that has logs. The whole point is anonymity and there isnt any with this service!!!! Its okay if youre just trying to get netflix out of your country area but other than that dont expect to have any anonymity whatsoever!!!

***Warning!!! Do not buy!!! My privacy was breeched! I got a crazy expensive internet cable bill all thanks to this company giving away MY IP ADDRESS!!! Everything got hacked! I have to pay a professional to fix my modem. Change my IP address and wipe my computer! Careful!! And!!.. When I did use the service, before I knew about my privacy breech. I realized, you need an American credit card / address and phone number in order to get US Netflix and other great US websites we dont get in Canada! So after the complex instructions on how to download. I still couldnt access the websites I wanted to. This needs to be looked in and reported.

This app will crash when I login with my Account. I tested many times, the issue still there. Please fix it quickly!
